Thomasville Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal and equine veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

      Our new "state of the art", 10,000 sq.ft. facility has been open since October 2006. Our practice is well equipped with ultrasound, computed radiography, in-house chemistries and surgery suite, tonopen, isofluorane, surgical monitors, a closely monitored intensive care unit, etc. We have an excellent, loyal clientele and a staff second to none. Our small animal technician received the "Technician of the Year Award" for the state of Georgia in 2003. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with referral practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. 

     The facility has a room for housing felines in comfortable "cat condos". These units offer rooms with different levels which look out of a large window to our wooded lot. Cats are able to observe nature and are entertained by the bird feeder just outside the window. There are also 37 air-conditioned runs for dogs, of which 13 are indoor/outdoor kennels. There are separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, along with four examination rooms, a well-stocked pharmacy/lab, spacious treatment area, and a bathing room.

     The isolation room has its own contained ventilation system to minimize contamination with infectious agents. Our facility also houses an intensive care unit, as well as an individual small animal and a fully-padded equine operating room. Connected to the small animal facility is a barn with hospitalization stalls and an equine treatment area. The four paddocks behind the hospital along with the large grassy lunging area provide ample room for all equine exams.

     Thomasville is a beautiful place to live and work. We are known for our annual Rose Show Festival, Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival, as well a down-town Victorian Christmas. It has recently been featured in several national publications for it high quality of life and relatively low cost of living. Hunting, fishing and other outdoor opportunities abound. Thomasville is just 1 hour from the coast and 30 minutes from Tallahassee, Florida. It is also a great place to raise a family with excellent schools and lots of recreation.
