Dr. V. Todd Cooley
Dr. Todd Cooley is a graduate of Mississippi State University. After completing vet school in 1987 he gained great equine experiences in central Illinois and Ocala, FL. He added small animal medicine to his resume in Tallahassee. After coming to Thomasville in 2000, Dr. Cooley enjoyed living out one of his dreams of being a part in the construction of our new animal hospital. Dr. Cooley maintains a busy equine practice but squeezes in time to watch his 4 children participate in multiple activities with his wife of 27 years.
Dr. Danny Culbreth
Dr. Danny Culbreth grew up in Rome, Georgia. He graduated form Darlington School in 1968. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Georgia in 1972, and his D.V.M. degree from UGA in 1976. After graduation, he and his wife, Andrea, moved to Thomasville. In 1980 he established Thomasville Animal Hospital.
Dr. Culbreth's main practice interests are small animal medicine and surgery.
He is the father of Ashley, Til , and Katy, and grandfather to Jake, Brinson, Katybeth, and J.D., all of whom are members of the Thomasville community.
Dr. Jennifer Mason
Dr. Jennifer Mason is originally from Thomasville and is enjoying being home after eight years at the University of Georgia. She graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Animal Health, and then again in 2007 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Jennie is currently practicing small animal medicine and surgery and has been with the practice since 2007. Her husband is fellow Thomasville native, Fort Mason. They proudly welcomed their second child in July 2012. Their 3 dogs and cat are still adjusting...
Dr. Jodi D'Amico
Dr. Jodi D'Amico moved to Thomasville with her husband, Mike, and their 2 dogs. She is originally from Fort Pierce, FL, but lived in Gainesville, FL for 8 years while attending the University of Florida. She earned her bachelors degree in Animal Sciences in 2003 and the degree Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. D'Amico is currently practicing both equine and small animal medicine and surgery and has been with the practice since 2007. The D'Amicos have a beautiful little boy born March 11, 2010.
Dr. Jennifer E. Weldon
Dr. Jenny Weldon is excited to return home to become a member of the Thomasville Animal Hospital veterinary team. A native of Tallahassee, Jenny completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Auburn University and earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine form the University of Florida in 2008. After completing a one-year equine internship in Ocala, Florida, Jenny started work on large animals in Brooksville, Florida. But receiving a call in early 2011 from Dr. Cooley, Jenny's mentor since middle school, inviting her to apply for a position was a dream-come-true! Dr. Weldon loaded up her family (1cat, 2 dogs, 3 horses) and headed north to Thomasville. She has been busy ever since acquainting and re-acquainting with clients in her treatment of both small and large animals.
Dr. Ward Mills
Dr. Ward Mills is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BSA in Animal Science in 2008 and then a DVM in 2012. He grew up in Fort Gaines, GA where he attended high school at Southwest Georgia Academy. Dr. Mills grew up on a cattle farm and has a special interest in beef cows. He is interested in helping cattle producers in the area as well as continuing the tradition of high quality small animal medicine and surgery here at Thomasville Animal Hospital. Dr. Mills was married August 2011 to Cassie who was raised in Tallahassee, Florida. They have an English Springer Spaniel named Brooks. Dr. Mills and Cassie are looking forward to getting involved in a great community.
